A quick tip for anyone that is bored of typing in their username when logging into Xero.
A feature request popped up on the Xero Community last week and whilst this is not the same as a remember me or remember username tick box it has the same desired effect.
Copy the following text into your web browser address bar:
https://login.xero.com/?username=example@example.com
Replacing example@example.com with your Xero username.
Doing so should get you something like this:
Once you have done this then simply create a bookmark (the star icon in the top right hand corner of Internet Explorer, or star icon at the end of the address bar in Firefox and Google Chrome)
Then next time you want to login to Xero click on your saved bookmark and all you need to enter is your password!
As a side note if there is anything you would like Xero to do you can add a feature request via the Xero Community forum, simply login with your existing username and add your feature request. You can even vote up other peoples request’s and the popular ones may feature in a future release.
